Healthy fish
As well as tasting delicious, fish is great source of protein, healthy Omega 3 fish oils, vitamins and minerals. It is also low in saturated fat and cholesterol which all adds up to an essential ingredient for a healthy, balanced diet that is also essential for the proper functioning of our bodies.
But don't take our word for it, the British Nutrition Foundation for some years now have promoted the importance of fish and seafood in a healthy diet, recommending a minimum two portions per week.
Regularly eating fish helps to provide the body with essential nutrients that can reduce fatigue, help to boost the immune system and perhaps most importantly, fish is known to reduce the risk of heart disease and helps to keep our hearts healthy.
Fish is also essential for children and contains many of the key elements of the main food groups that kids need to grow - protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. We are very conscious that children need a healthy balanced diet and we are currently working with schools to develop healthy new products that kids enjoy eating.
